happy halloweenie

When I was young, my Grandma would host a Halloween dinner for my birthday.  For the past few years I have been living in Utah and had to miss out.  Finally, I am back in Texas!  We all went over to KiKi's last night for a Halloween Birthday Party.

Little Katelyn showed up dressed for the occasion.

Luckily she didn't sting anybody.

Grandma made some delicious fajitas...

...and some spooky desserts.

Katelyn loved the little bones made from meringue.  They were much prettier than my meringue failure from a few weeks ago.

We had a great time at the party and now I'm extra excited for Halloween.  Just wait until you see Baby Kate's official Halloween costume.

One word: feathers.
