![Photo: Owies! :(. But on a positive note she is healthy and beautiful. http://instagr.am/p/MmfK75nmox/](https://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash3/c0.0.403.403/p403x403/555926_10151063710006147_393955217_n.jpg)
Katelyn was perfectly healthy in every way and was around the 55th percentile for height, weight, and head circumference. It's always a relief to hear that she is doing well. She now weighs 11 pounds and 3 ounces and she is three inches longer. I can't believe how much she has grown!
The sad part of the visit was the immunizations. Poor little K was happy and smiling at me until she got the first shot. It was really hard for me to watch but I know that she will be protected from some really scary diseases.
Tonight she has a sore little leg but no fever and she is doing well. I let her nurse for over two hours this evening even though she stopped drinking after the first thirty minutes. I feel like I shifted from milking cow to giant human pacifier but I would have done anything to make her feel okay.
At one point, Katelyn was distressed and the only way to make her feel better was to literally jog around the room with her. D laughed that he had never seen me run around the house like that and I told him that I would stand on my head if I thought it would help her.
Everyone here is so worried about making K feel better. Katelyn has five doting adults rocking and swinging and running her around the room. She is one of the most loved (and a little bit spoiled) babies in the world but she it worth it. :)
