k'mal ki

One time, my mom was telling me about her next door neighbor.  She said that the family was from Africa and she bet that I couldn't guess which country.  I asked her to give me a neighboring country and she said Djibouti.  I guessed Eritrea.  Never bet against me in a challenge of geography.

When we told her neighbor about our Olympics international dinners, she walked home and returned about five minutes later with some traditional Eritrean food.  We ate this spongy really sour bread with spicy lamb on top.  It was pretty tasty.  What I didn't get a picture of was the soft flatbread that she also brought over.  We ate all of it before we took any pictures. :)
