D got a wonderful little gift for Father's Day! I woke up early and dressed Katelyn in a special Father's Day onsie and wrapped her up in a blanket for D. He was so tired and I asked him to changer her diaper. It took him a few seconds for him to notice.
Katelyn gave her dad a can of salty cashews and a giant box of rice krispy treats.
D is such a wonderful dad for little Katelyn. Every morning he and Baby K have "daddy daughter time" so I can get some sleep. I think that everyone loves it but I love it the most.
The first person Katelyn smiled at was her dad. Every time she heard his voice in the morning she would turn towards him, stare for a minute, and break out into a smile. If there is a crowd of people all talking to K and Dave talks to her, she will pay him the coveted attention.
