Similar to my love of fall, my affinity for parades is enduring. Today, I dragged along any one who was willing to the West Jordan Independence Day Parade. Here are the highlights.
The fire engines blared their sirens as they rolled along down the road.
I had never seen a hazmat utility truck participate in a city parade.
Smoky the Bear made an appearance, Uncle Sam danced on down the road, and then there was this clown.
My favorite part of the parade was this band of letter carriers, dressed in uniform and everything.
A fun time was had by all ... and of course, one of the best parade features is the candy.
